What a cure means to alison

ive had parkinsons for elevern and half years now,im 43 years old,so a cure for me would mean the world.before i had pd,i ran county schools,english schools,nationals,track and crosscountry.i then ran road,half marathons and full.i ran aginst zola budd,and liz mcollangn,i have met many athletles ,i speak with zola and others on face book,we keep in touch.if i had a cure,i would get my running spikes back on and i be off with the wind through my hair agin.my mom has bad health and also now has been dx with brain tumer/cancer,they can not do anything for her,i have a handicapped brother also with other medical needs.i find it so hard,helpless watching carers looking after them,i have carers my self,i would love to look after them like i did my dad before he passed on,if i was cured i would be able to do this for my family,and feel hole agin.i have done alot of fund raising for puk and my pd group over the years,but if i was cured of pd,i would go out there and give more surport to others,i would love to give a hole lot more,my parkinsons holds me back so much now,i also have athritus of the spine,so im on two sticks or in the wheelchair,if i was cured my hole life would change,and i would be there for others to help to change theres too.
